Unic Coffee Machines

In 1919, engineer Mario Levi invented his first coffee machine, the Idrotermica, in Turin. In 1929, he created the Unic brand and set up a manufacturing plant in Nice.

Four generations later, Unic continues to be a family-run company that designs and manufactures espresso machines renowned for their reliability and their state-of-the-art technology.

Conti Coffee Machines

In 1950, a small independent manufacturing company was founded by owner, M. Siksik. He combined a passion for espresso and engineering, and started producing espresso machines.

M. Siksik named his brand ‘Conti’, inspired by the home of his original factory, located on Quai Conti on the South Bank of the River Seine in Paris.

The Conti factory in Paris was invited by Prince Rainier of Monaco in 1956 to move its manufacturing facilities to Monaco, where the company took up residence.
